Roy has extensive experience of working within therapeutic environments for children, from the age of 6 years to 18 years, with challenging behaviour . He has worked in children’s homes and within residential schools. He has lead organisations to achieve Good and Outstanding gradings from Ofsted.
Prior to joining the care industry Roy spent 22 years in the army working his way up to Sergeant Major. His experience includes five years as Head of Care supervising the Registered Managers of three homes.
In his spare times Roy enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for motorbikes.
During her time at Heysham House, Beth has been promoted to Team Leader and most recently Deputy Homes Manager.
Beth plays an integral role in supporting young people at Heysham House, she is very passionate in ensuring they achieve the best possible outcomes.
One of Beth’s great qualities, is her kind, nurturing approach to caring for our young people and her ability to build strong trusting relationships which in turn has helped to build on the resilience, self-esteem and confidence of the children in her care.
Outside of the home Beth loves spending time with her family, in particular her young Granddaughter.
