We are looking for a Care Quality Lead to join our team at Kedleston Group Limited. This is a fixed term position for one year in the first instance.

Reporting into and acting as deputy to the Group Head of Social Care, you will work to ensure each residential school care provision and children’s home is fully compliant with all regulatory standards in relation to the provision of care and where appropriate drive through initiatives that position service to at least a minimum of a ‘Good’ rating as measured by Ofsted.

In addition you will help instil in each residential school care provision and children’s home an aspiration to achieve and maintain an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating.

You will provide effective leadership, guidance and mentorship to all Registered Managers alongside the Group Head of Social Care in order to support their professional development and their ability to deliver the required expectations of their role.

Auditing, compliance, regulation, quality assurance and sharing best practice will be key elements of your role and you will work with colleagues across our care and education provisions as well those in our safeguarding, commercial and business support teams to ensure we are successful in achieving our mission to develop confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ Health/Social Care level 4 or 5 
  • 2 years experience in senior management role in similar sector or organisation
  • Sounds knowledge of social care regulations, standards, framework and legislation 
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the UK with overnight stays
