This involved the 8 Year 6 students that will be leaving for their new schools all being presented with academic and pastoral awards. Each one of them gave a speech to the assembled group of the other classes, parents, friends from the village and guests from our sister schools. There was lots of laughter and a few tears, however, an overwhelming sense of pride from all that attended. Congratulations to all of the students, wishing you all the best in your new school ventures. #award #graduations #groupclasses #ceremonies Its been a busy week in Wings Cumbria school this week - take a look at the link for all the things the students have been doing!  #education #schools #schooltrips

Students also get to practice following a set of instructions and working together as a team. They tasted pretty good too! #literacy #baking #geography #danish #instruction #numeracy #development #education #wellness #living #award There has been lots happening at Old Arley in Warwickshire over the past week - A mobile Pizza Oven to come to the school on Friday as part of the 100% attendance rewards.  A year 9 delivered training to staff on Monday evening on what it is like living with autism, entitled ‘Welcome to My World.’ They were able to share what it is like to live with high levels of anxiety and how this affects life on a daily basis, particularly in social situations.  The Duke of Edinburgh final assessment expedition took place on Thursday and Friday. All students did exceptionally well, even in the tropical temperatures! We are awaiting confirmation that all students have successfully completed their bronze award.
