Vocational Qualifications from College Placements:

Motor Vehicle Maintenance Level 1

1

Olsen House School, Year 11 pupils sat a hugely diverse range of GCSE and other nationally recognised examinations in a range of subjects including Science, Maths, English, and ICT as well as home cooking skills, preparing for working life, life-saving and indoor climbing.

On average, pupils achieved more than nine qualifications each, making the results, the best the school has seen in its history.  One student also achieved a vocational qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance as part of a college placement.

Head Teacher Alison Ford said: “We’re so proud of our students this year, they have worked extremely hard to achieve both in and out of the classroom.  The results are a reflection of their hard work and determination and each and every one of our students leaving Olsen has gone on to further education or a work placement - all pupils had a post 16 destination confirmed prior to leaving Olsen House in June 2016.
