About the role:
As a 1-2-1 Support / TA you will be responsible for delivering consistent academic, pastoral, and behavioural support. You will be supporting a year 6 child in a class with other pupils but may also support pupils across the school if required.
Closing Date: 11th April 2025, interviews to be completed by end of April 2025
Job Type: Fixed Term December 2025 (may be extended dependant on funding)
About you:
You will be an experienced 1-2-1 Support / TA, preferably with experience across both mainstream and specialist teaching settings. You will be well practiced at supporting pupils with special educational needs including Autism, ADHD requirements. Also, experience in Team Teach or similar would be beneficial.
You will be adept at tailoring your approach and support to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils.
You will be able to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils as well as promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
You will possess good subject and curriculum knowledge and will be able to use this knowledge to support pupils both in and outside of the main classroom. You will provide levels of care and support appropriate to the general needs of the children and those outlined in their EHCP’s and individualised plans.
