This role is working 39 weeks per year during school term time and INSET plus 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school closure periods.

About the role:

As Teaching Assistant at Silverways School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will support the class teacher to promote positive behaviour, you will understand learning objectives, content and intended outcomes for the learning activities in which students are involved and you will support monitoring student progress. You will be part of a key team around the young person in order to maintain consistent support, communication and updated support plans.

About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within an ASC/SEN setting, a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop but more importantly, someone who wants to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and commitment to developing confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.
