The talented GCSE Art students from our Arc Oakbridge recently embarked on a journey of inspiration and creativity as they visited the Tate Modern in London. We were truly impressed by their exceptional attitude and behaviour throughout the trip, and we couldn't be prouder of them.
The primary objective of this trip was to provide our budding artists with a wealth of inspiration for their own artwork.
The adventure began with an early morning train journey to London Euston. From there, they hopped on the underground to Charing Cross, taking in the sights along South Bank before heading to the iconic Tate Modern.
Once at the gallery, our students were greeted by the enchanting exhibition titled 'Capturing the Moment.' This exhibition took them on an unforgettable journey through the realms of painting and photography.
They enjoyed a picnic lunch by the riverside, which enabled them to have some group reflections and conversations.
The trip was not just about visiting a museum; it was about unlocking the creative potential within each student. We look forward to seeing how 'Capturing the Moment' will influence their own artwork and contribute to their artistic journeys.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates and achievements from Arc Oakbridge!
