We have appointed a new Non-Executive Director to our Board............

Paul Hegarty, a registered social worker and senior care manager with more than 30 years’ experience – primarily working with Lancashire County Council - will join Kedleston Group in July this year. 

Kedleston supports children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and autism in settings throughout England.

Paul has more than 30 years’ experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of children’s services, having worked at a senior level in Local Authorities covering all aspects of service delivery.

Kedleston Chief Executive Paul Brosnan said: “Paul brings with him detailed knowledge and understanding of children’s services and a clear awareness of the current practice, trends and contemporary thinking. 

Having worked at a strategic level for 14 years, he has a well-developed understanding of complex governance arrangements and his experience will bring additional expertise into our team, which is absolutely committed to delivering the very best quality services for young people possible.”

Paul Hegarty said: “I am delighted to be joining an organisation which is open, transparent, child centred and which is always seeking to learn and improve for the benefit of the young people it supports.”

In his spare time Paul is a keen cyclist, enjoys tennis and is a school Governor.
