Amelia has enjoyed the opportunity to focus on her art studies whilst at home, she has refined her drawing techniques and painting styles to suit intentions of her chosen theme. Very well done Amelia! I look forward to seeing more of your creations.
Jenna has been working on completing her Bronze Arts Award this year in Art. Due to current circumstances, Jenna had to complete the final stage of her award at home. Jenna shared an art skill she has learnt all about called ‘Batik’ with her mum. Jenna had to teach her mum the process and techniques and evidence the learning involved. Jenna enjoyed being a teacher and helped her mum create a fantastic colourful Batik T-shirt together! Well done!
“Throughout this art award I have enjoyed every second of it. Firstly I decided that my topic will be something to do with the ocean so we started with batik and chose the simple design of a jellyfish group I enjoyed to ink and mixing of colours to create a colour that looked like it belonged in the ocean, to add to the picture we added glow in the dark paint to outline the jellyfish themselves. I then proceeded to document the process of batik and how it works.”
Jenna has developed a fantastic creative portfolio of work. She has shown excellent independent learning skills throughout her Arts Award journey. Well done Jenna!
