Schools and homes across the Kedleston Group took part in activities and discussions as part of the Hello Yellow Campaign for World Mental Health Day.
Pupils discussed who can help in times when you need emotional support, how to support friends and reflected on those things that bring joy and comfort even in difficult times...the morning walks, singing in the shower, the perfect cuppa, that Netflix show that got us all buzzing.
Hellow Yellow encourages people to wear yellow to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and to end stigma around the topic. Children and teachers wore yellow clothes, masks and decorated homes and classrooms with yellow bunting and balloons.
Children at Wood Grove raised £100 for the charity Young Minds, whose mission is to make sure every young person gets the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what and to stop young people's mental health reaching crisis point.
Children at Arc School Napton made kindness trees and wrote messages of support and encouragement for pupils and staff.
