The parents from our Mill School Bury were recently asked what else could be done to keep in contact to stay connected throughout the school holidays. They were all really keen to take part in a virtual cooking lesson and asked if this could be set up so that they could join in from home as family.
The school were more than happy to offer this session and set up an amazing cooking masterclass which was delivered online for everyone to join in with. On the menu was Tandoori roast chicken and chickpea salad........we think you’ll agree, it looks really tasty.
This not only helped everyone stay in touch and feel part of the school community but also was a great opportunity to teach real-life skills and it provided an opportunity for the families to learn a simple and healthy recipe they can use time and time again at home.
Mill School Bury is an independent specialist school which supports children and young people who may have social, emotional or mental health challenges (SEMH) and those with an autism spectrum condition (ASC). Great work everyone...what’s next on the menu?
