This week we have been busy preparing for their annual Christmas fayre. They were sad to not be able to share this day with our children carers and parents like they would normally do. However, all of the staff were determined to make this special day happen for the children to celebrate an end to a very positive term back at Arc School.
The children and staff have been also working hard in the kitchen making lots of mince pies to deliver to the homeless, a lovey gesture of Christmas spirit and good will to all.
A school raffle, organised by staff members this week has seen several children enjoy taking home a Christmas Hamper full of food and essentials as well as a delicious Turkey Joint! Well done and a huge thank you to all the staff who helped prepare these amazing hampers, they look great!
The children helped make personalised cards for the local neighbours to wish them happy Christmas.
Two of the children in Year 11 wanted to share some festive spirit this week. They decided to plan, prepare and deliver a special Christmas activity for the younger members of the school community in KS2. The children enjoyed making reindeer hot-chocolate cones and reindeer food to take home. Well done girls, fun had by all!
What a busy fun and festive week.
Merry Christmas!
