Autism Awareness Week aims to improve people's understanding of autism and help make the world friendlier to those who are affected by it.
Our Mill School Bury were really proud to get involved to raise awareness and show their support. The specialist independent school provides a safe learning environment for those living with autism and associated learning and communication needs.
The school chef has baked this fantastic rainbow cake today for everyone to enjoy – it looks really tasty.
Most closely tied to the concept of the autism spectrum, a range of colours on the rainbow has often been used to visually represent the range of autism symptoms and individuals with autism’s abilities and challenges. This rainbow spectrum is often paired with the puzzle piece logo, the infinity symbol, or the ribbon.
Well done Mill School Bury!
