The week started with a book quiz followed by daily activities such as creating bookmarks, matching a blurb to a book, guessing the teacher behind the mask and finished off with dressing up! Miss Dunlop stole the show for the staff dress up as The Mad Hatter.
The children enjoyed getting involved and created some fantastic bookmarks that will be printed and available in the new school library in September.
The children took part in a High Peak ball games event organised by Mr Bell. Everyone enjoyed taking part in a range of games such as rounders, tag rugby, hockey and football alongside the staff which was a great way to build relationship. They even had some children who had made half time brownies for that extra energy boost.
The amazing Outdoor Education teacher Mr Hayes has been working with the children to gain their mountain biking and bush craft qualifications and they have completed their Level 1&2 awards.
