High Peak School hosted Mill School Bury for innaufgural inter-school football fixtures in the run up to half term.

8 pupils represented Mill School Bury and 9 for High Peak School, the teams contested three matches with home advnatage paying off as High Peak School came out victorious in all three.

Although competitive the focus during the day was very much on sportsmanship and pupils were exceptional, offering their hand to any player who fell, cheering on their teams and generally displaying really positive attitudes and behaviour throughout.

Hopefully this will be the first of many sporting fixtures between these local rivals.
