We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new residential children’s home in Buxton which will support young people to achieve positive outcomes and fulfil their potential.
Part of the Kedleston Group, the home, called Dovedale House, will support children aged up to 16. It will provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming home for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as those with autism or a learning disability.
Kedleston currently has 13 schools and residential children’s homes throughout England and decided to expand its care offering after seeing an increased need for bespoke and specialist homes to support vulnerable young people and build on the success of its other residential children’s services.
Dovedale House is set to open in Februrary and is recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic care team members to support the young people and provide care and guidance. The team will follow a therapeutic approach which ensures children and young people are guided to address their feelings and emotions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a developing service, supported by an established and successful provider of children’s services. The team will shape the care and support to meet the individual needs of the young people, as well as have a positive and lasting impact on their lives.
