Some of the children and young people at the school have been thinking of lovely things to write in letters to the residents at a local care home. You can read some of the letters for yourself.
Some have asked questions, such as “what kind of music do you like?” or “what is your favourite food?” while others have decided to talk about their own personal hobbies and interests.
The residents were all really grateful to receive these letters and sent their thanks to the children.
The team at Arc School Ansley support the children and young people towards their individual goals, aspirations and develop as successful members of their community. Those who go to the school have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition and often many associated social, emotional and mental health needs.
Well done to everyone for taking the opportunity to be so thoughtful and kind.
