Our Arc School Napton have recently linked up with a Dementia Care home in the North West and the children have written beautiful postcards which have been posted to the care home residents, with special words of thought and kindness.
The postcards are now being proudly displayed on the board at the home for everyone to see.
The care home is called ‘Lymewood Court’ in Haydock and the activities co-ordinator who arranges events for the residents has thanked the school for the postcards, saying she read the messages to the residents before displaying them on their board.
Arc School Napton is a primary school and provides a safe learning environment for children and young people with educational and social needs which are associated with the challenges of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment disorder (AD), autism (ASC), dyslexia and dyspraxia. Some children have social emotional and mental health needs. (SEMH).
Well done to all of the children and young people who were involved, what a lovely and kind act in this really challenging time.
