To end our half term of fun activities we have spent the day making super slime!
We learnt that if you mix Saline solution, PVA glue and Bicarbonate of Soda you can make some sublime slime. You need to work the mixture lots to get it to the texture you want. From our experiments we found out that the Saline solution makes it sticky but the Bicarbonate of Soda makes it smoother. We tried lots of ratios until we got the consistency we wanted. Then it was time for the best bit...we added food colouring and glitter to make a rainbow of different coloured slime.
We can now use our own slime for our sensory breaks!
