Christmas can be a wonderful and happy occasion for many of us who are able to be with our loved ones. This year has been a particularly hard challenge for so many children and young people across the UK, who haven’t been able to share time with their friends and family.
As this is a time for giving, Essex Police have decided to brighten Christmas for those vulnerable children who may otherwise receive little or nothing.
They are appealing to local communities to help them make this happen by donating a small gift which they can pass on to those who will benefit the most.
All of the children in our Wood Grove Children’s Home decided they wanted to get involved and donated their pocket money to ensure nobody wakes up at Christmas without a present.
What a fantastic campaign, well done to our children for taking part and giving – such a thoughtful act of kindness.
