High Peak School have engaged in democracy themed projects during tutor time in line with the recent UK Parliament Week. Through this they have elected a brand new student council where children from across the school have put themselves forward to represent their tutor groups, many of whom have delivered a speech to their classes on why they are a suitable candidate.

The elected children are excited for their first meeting where they can share the voice of the young people from across the school. We look forward to hearing their ideas on how the school can continue to develop in a way which best supports them and their learning.
