Meet George, one of the amazing pupils from our Arc Oakbridge School in Birmingham, who demonstrated incredible bravery during the recent holidays.
George's quick thinking and determination saved the day when he rescued a younger boy who had fallen into a wasps' nest. The younger boy was stung numerous times, and paramedics had to be called.
But here's the remarkable part – George didn't hesitate for a second! He jumped right in, pulled the young boy to safety, and fearlessly hand-picked all the wasps off him, even though he was getting stung multiple times himself.
In recognition of his extraordinary courage, George has been awarded a Silver Blue Peter badge! This prestigious honour is a testament to his quick thinking, and bravery.
We're incredibly proud of George and his heroic actions. The paramedics were also full of praise, and they congratulated him for his selflessness in the face of danger.
Let's all take a moment to celebrate George, our real-life superhero, and a shining example of courage and compassion.
