Every Wednesday, our primary Arc School Napton encourages staff to gather to enjoy freshly brewed coffee and tea, and an array of delicious pastries. These weekly gatherings are thoughtfully hosted by a member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who is there to create a warm and welcoming environment.
Well-being Wednesdays provide an invaluable opportunity for our staff to unwind, connect, and chat openly about any topic that's on their minds. Within the supportive circle of their colleagues, they can seek advice, share experiences, and simply be there for one another. These moments of connection foster a sense of unity that strengthens our school community.
But our commitment to well-being doesn't stop there. For our students, we have introduced a "Worry Box," a safe space where they can express their thoughts and concerns. Their voices matter, and we ensure they are heard. Additionally, we've amplified their say in the selection of lunchtime games. Becky, our dedicated lunch lead, collects their ideas and insights every half term, shaping our lunchtime activities to align with their preferences and interests.
Arc School Napton aims to ensure that everyone's voice is heard and valued.
