At Kedleston Group Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to achieve the highest standards of education and care for all our young people, and we continually review and work to improve the quality of our schools and homes.
As part of this commitment we hold regular safeguarding conferences, bringing together Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) and Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) from across our schools and children’s homes. These events represent an opportunity to come together, share best practice, reflect on our systems and processes, develop our knowledge, learn from each other’s experience and also hear from external experts.

Sessions were also delivered by Regional Director Sophie Garner, Team Teach Trainer and Deputy House Manager Jade Mason, Quality Director Heather Millington, Home Manager Dani Slack and Head of Safeguarding Kimberley Taylor.
