Last week, our Year 11 students attended the National School Leavers Festival at the NEC. It was a fantastic event, and they had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of employers, colleges, and training providers.
In addition to exploring educational pathways, the students spoke to representatives from companies like TUI, RAF and the NHS, whom offer virtual work experience programs. They also connected with the Acorn Charity, which operates numerous shops across the West Midlands, providing students with opportunities for work experience in various roles.
The students were able to take part in interactive workshops and ask questions about the courses and opportunities available. It was a highly engaging and informative day, and our students left with a better understanding of their options moving forward.
It was a valuable experience for our students, and we’re excited about the possibilities it has opened up for them.
