Who we are
Arc Oakbridge School is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in 2018.
We are an independent special day school in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham with a specially designed learning environment created to meet the needs of autistic children. We provide a calm, low arousal, safe, positive and nurturing place where young people can learn and grow.
Class sizes are very small and classrooms are ‘enabling environments’ with sensory lighting, muted colours, individual work stations and visual timetables. The curriculum is designed to meet the specific academic, social, emotional and sensory needs of each individual young person.
Cutting edge technology, including virtual reality, is used effectively as part of both the transition to the school and in teaching and support.
Through close partnerships with families, professionals and the wider community our school ensures that all children and young people thrive and given the right start in life.
Year 11 leavers at Arc Oakbridge School achieved a range of impressive qualifications during 2023.

- 100% pupils achieved qualifications in both Maths and English.
- 80% of pupils achieved qualifications in Maths, English and Science.
