Our school is situated in a small village, Ansley with good travel links to and from the school. The school building has been designed to create spacious and calming learning environments for children living with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition which include: Science laboratory, Art room, Computing and IT, Food technology and Design and technology.
Teaching is delivered in small groups of no more than 7 children and young people at any one time, creating calm low arousal learning environments. Each young person is allocated a keyworker who looks after their personal and emotional well-being. Any necessary adaptations can be made to the curriculum in order to meet your child's needs as they grow in the school.
Structured education and health activities form part of the school week and include swimming, outdoor pursuits, visits to museums, theatres, garden centres, fishing pools and farm visits.
Specialist teachers work closely with an experienced pastoral and clinical team to provide the best support and care for your child. We ensure communication between home and the school is strong so that we can work together to enable your child to flourish.
