Becky

Headteacher

It is with great pride and happiness that I am Headteacher at Arc Napton. I qualified as a teacher in 2014 and have worked in various settings and schools during that time. I am determined to keep up the amazing reputation that Arc Napton has, and I am passionate about providing every individual with the key skills to thrive and succeed in every way that they can.

Before arriving at Arc Napton, I worked in a plethora of places, including children’s homes and nurseries, working as a manager, leading on Speech and Language and SEN across the company and ensuring equal opportunities for all. I have a desire to

provide everyone with the opportunities in life that they deserve, and this is why I'm honoured to be part of the Napton and Kedleston team.

Beth

Assistant Headteacher

I am Beth, and I joined this lovely little school back in January 2013. I am now the Assistant Headteacher for the site, but originally joined as a Keyworker. 

I am passionate about making sure all our children have the best possible education and experience whilst at Arc School Napton. I firmly believe every child has huge potential, and it is our job to help capture this, channelling their individual talents and interests to motivate them to achieve their best possible outcomes. 

Sadie

Office Manager

Hi my name is Sadie and I’ve been working at Arc School Napton for over 7 years.

Before working at the school I had no SEN experience what-so-ever. When I started with the school I was hired as the secretary and I have since been promoted to office manager.

I love my job and love watching the pupils progress in their academics as well as watching them grow into young adults.

Arc School Napton is such a lovely place to work and the children do thrive here and I am proud to say I am a part of that.

In my spare time I like to read, spend lots of time with family and friends and also look after my Shetland pony, Oreo.

Early Help and Family Support Senior Lead

Hi I’m Fiona – I have worked at Arc School since 2011 - I am deeply passionate about working with children and their families to help make a positive impact on their lives. I find so much joy and fulfilment in guiding, nurturing, and supporting their growth and development. Every child is a unique individual with limitless potential, and I am committed to providing them with the love, care, and resources they need to thrive. My dedication to my job role drives me to continually learn and adapt, ensuring that I can offer the best possible support to each child I work with.

Jo

Middle Leader and Class Teacher (English and Science Lead)

Hello! I’m Jo, and I have worked at our lovely Arc School in Napton since 2019. I am the Year 6 teacher, and English and Science lead.

My career in education began 20 years ago, when I decided to teach abroad. After a year teaching in Japan, I returned to the UK to gain my qualifications and I can honestly say, I haven’t looked back since! I have taught in many different settings, teaching from primary up to 99 year olds! My passions are in English (I am a bit of a grammar boffin) and Science, which is the topic I studied at university many many moons ago. I absolutely love teaching and making a difference in our pupils’ lives.

In my spare time, I love nothing more than spending time with my family and friends and travelling to new places in the UK, Europe and further afield. I also enjoy running, having taken part in numerous half marathons and the Virtual London Marathon.

Middle Leader and Class Teacher (Curriculum lead)

Hello my name is Sam and I am the curriculum lead and stage one class teacher at Arc School Napton.

I completed my ECT with the school and I have learnt so much since I have been here. I am extremely passionate about creating a classroom and school experiences based around fun, safety, inclusivity and nurture.

I love my role at Arc School Napton and enjoy teaching and developing students academically and personally.
