We have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year this week! Year of the Snake 🐍 . Pupils participated in cultural learning activities across the curriculum and enjoyed receiving a fortune cookie at lunch time! For Lunar New Year, it's tradition to give the gift of a bright, beautiful red envelope (known as 紅包, hóngbāo) to your friends and family. But not just any old envelope. These are filled with money - and symbolise good wishes and luck for the new year ahead! We hope the pupils enjoyed receiving their special envelopes! A big thank you to all the pupils and staff involved in organising our event 😊.
