This week at Mapesbury, we came together for two incredible causes - Red Nose Day and World Down Syndrome Day. The spirit of generosity and community was truly inspiring!
For Red Nose Day, our staff took part in a fun-filled cake-decorating challenge. Using icing and fondant, they created some fantastic sweet treats, all while raising funds for a great cause. Every penny collected will go toward helping individuals facing tough challenges in the UK and around the world. By wearing our red noses, we showed that even small efforts can make a big impact!
We also proudly participated in the "Rock Your Socks" initiative for World Down Syndrome Day. It was wonderful to see everyone sporting odd socks to raise awareness and support for individuals with learning disabilities. This simple but powerful act helped spark conversations and spread awareness about inclusion and support for all.
These initiatives not only brought joy and creativity to our school but also reinforced the importance of giving back. Thank you to everyone who took part—you’ve helped make a real difference!
