The staff and young people from High Peak School, Cheshire recently visited St Mary’s Church in Disley for the annual Christingle celebration including festive carols.

Christingle is a candle-lit, festive celebration that's perfect for bringing families and communities together. The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the celebration. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle.

All of the young people represented the High Peak School brilliantly, so well-done to everyone!! They really enjoyed making their own Christingle orange and joining in with the singing.

High Peak School is set on the border of Cheshire East and the Peak District and provides residential education for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, individuals on the autism spectrum and young people with ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia.
