Staff at Mill Bury School

Our staff are committed to removing the barriers to education, so that children have access to a positive learning environment. They will set aspirational and achievable targets, so that progress is made and social and educational achievement is celebrated.

The team is diverse, creative and nurturing and includes qualified teachers with SEN experience, alongside dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants and Therapists.

The team understands that our children may be anxious, as they have struggled for many reasons to be a part of a school community. Our skilled staff listen to and work in partnership with children, parents, carers and stakeholders to provide an inspiring environment that places children and their families at the heart of all decision making.

Mill School Bury provides a vibrant learning space for children. Additional therapeutic support is available “in-house” including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and therapeutic arts.

All of our staff at Mill School Bury have been employed because they have the experience, skills and qualifications needed to work with some of the most vulnerable children.
