A group of determined pupils from Mill School Bury recently took on an expedition practice as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Their route led them up the well-known Holcombe Hill, a perfect training ground for their upcoming adventures.
Luckily, the weather was on their side, with dry and clear conditions providing stunning views from the top. From Peel Tower to the distant Manchester skyline, the group was rewarded with breathtaking scenery after their climb.
The walk tested their navigation and teamwork skills, but they tackled the challenge with enthusiasm and determination. This was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence for future expeditions, and the pupils should be proud of their efforts.
Well done to everyone involved!
