We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated School Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the smooth and efficient operation of our school.

Job Overview:
The School Administrator will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing school systems, and supporting the leadership team in all aspects of school operations. This is a crucial role to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the school, with duties that include managing records, coordinating schedules, assisting with communications, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering calls, emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and other essential documentation in line with policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate school events, meetings, and staff schedules.
  • Liaise with parents, students, staff, and external agencies as necessary.
  • Support the Headteacher and leadership team in the planning and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Assist in managing the school's budget and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in school administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other school management software.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of educational policies and regulations.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., administration, business management) are an advantage.
