Some children from Arc School Old Arley have made 2 big, colourful rainbows for the entrance of the Community Nurse Station in nearby Atherstone.
The nurses who work there love how they brighten up their doorway and have sent some pictures.
Nurse Gemma even dropped off a lovely ‘thank you’ letter, some coronavirus related colouring and activity pages and information brochures. She chatted (while keeping a safe distance outside) for a while about staying safe and healthy, social distancing and hand washing, whilst demonstrating and practising safe distancing herself.
Nurse Gemma told the children she has a colleague who recently visited an elderly gentleman in Old Arley village and had mentioned to him about the rainbows from the school. The gentleman then told her how he gets a Christmas card from Arc School Old Arley every year! How lovely that the school make such wonderful connections with their local community.
