It’s been a very busy couple of weeks for everyone at Arc School Old Arley.
The school recently held a mock general election on the 12thDecember, which was a fantastic opportunity for the children and young people to learn about current affairs happening across the country. The votes came in and were counted, and there was a decisive win for the Labour party, securing 50% of the vote.
Last week also saw Christmas Jumper Day linking in with the charity Save the Children. Everyone enjoyed the annual festive Christmas Dinner at the school whilst dressed in festive jumpers to raise money for the fantastic cause. Well done everyone who took part!
The children and young people have also been making Christmas cards and mince pies and went into Coventry City Centre to hand them out to the homeless.
Countdown is now on this week to the Christmas holidays and everyone is definitely in the festive spirit!
