Some of the children and young people at the school have been busy recently thinking of lovely things to write in letters to the residents at a local care home.
Some have asked questions, such as “what kind of music do you like?” or “what is your favourite food?” while others have decided to talk about their own personal hobbies and interests.
The residents were all really grateful to receive these letters and sent their thanks to the children.
The Staff and Residents at Oldbury Grange Nursing Home sent this kind message in response:
“A short time ago we received some lovely letters from your students that was sent across to us at Oldbury Grange Nursing Home. We would like to thank you for these letters they have boosted our residents’ spirits so much and was a very kind gesture. We shared them out between our residents and they was so happy to hear from the students and know that people outside of the home are thinking of them.
Once again thank you it was a very kind thing to do and we are extremely grateful, you should be proud of your students.”
Congratulations to all of the children at Arc School Ansley for your hard work.
