In a first for the school and also for many of the students, Brookways have gone international! 12 brave students successfully completed a 5-day trip to Berlin, Germany. Over the week students visited a variety of historical sites, like the Brandenburg gate and the Berlin wall, museums such as the Jewish museum and the Stasi Prison museum, as well as a concentration camp. Aside from the history, the students were immersed in German culture, trying traditional foods such as schnitzel and visiting the Olympic stadium. All students were great representatives of the school and exemplifies the schools 3 R'S and 3C's at all times. We hope that this will be the first of many international trips following on from our residential program for the younger years.
