The Year 11 students from Arc School Old Arley had the opportunity to take part in the UK’s largest skills, apprenticeships and careers event that was held on Friday 22nd November at the NEC Birmingham.
The Work Skills Live Event is the nation’s largest experiential skills and careers event, covering the area of nine football pitches. Leading employers offered ‘have a go’ experiences and talked to young people about what’s important to them – their futures. Independent careers advisors were also on-hand to give 1:1 expert advice.
Spotlight stages gave visitors the opportunity to get close to business leaders and young professionals.
The students had a fantastic time and engaged really well with everything on offer, filling them with inspiration and motivation.
Well done to everyone who went along!
