Within the Kedleston Group we aim to support and nurture our current staff through their various exciting development opportunities.
We are pleased to announce that two trainee teachers from our Arc Oakbridge School have been going through an apprenticeship route to become Qualified Teachers and have just completed their final assessments and been awarded QTS status.
Alex started as a Teaching Assistant at the school and then quickly became an HLTA. He has trained to become a qualified art teacher. While Ryan started as a Teaching Assistant at the school and is now a qualified PE teacher.
We are extremely proud of both; they have worked hard and shown that they were born to be teachers.
Arc Oakbridge School offers a calm, low arousal, safe, positive and nurturing place where young people with a primary need of autism (ASC) and associated complex needs can learn and grow. They focus on maximising every individuals’ potential to develop into a confident, secure, well-adjusted and skilled young person who will make a positive contribution to society and live as independent a life as possible.
Congratulations!
