On Tuesday 14th February they held World Book Giving day, where the children and parents donated pre-loved books, which they wrapped up and gifted on to the local Primary School and Nursery. Some of the children hand delivered the books and had a chat with peers from the other school.
On Thursday 2nd March for World Book Day, the children and staff came into school dressed up as their favourite book character made their own bookmarks. In the afternoon they held an Oakbridge reading cafe where the parents and carers were invited to come and share a book and a snack with their children.
Some children even had the opportunity to go to the local Waterstones to spend their World Book Day vouchers.
Great work everyone 😊
