Congratulations to all those awarded Employee of the Month for November 2018
Wings School Cumbria
Clare Wright
Clare has inspired and mentored pupils at Wings School for more years than she may wish to admit! Her quiet, calm manner in class along with great personal talent and a wealth of teaching expertise all combine to give our pupils a truly wonderful experience in learning. Teaching so many different techniques in art production allows all pupils to access art in a form they find both inspirational and accessible to them, which in turn allows all to achieve; this was particularly evidenced at the Kedleston Art competition this month with a pupil from Wings being chosen as the winner!
Thank you Clare.
Alison Young
Alison has worked at Wings for over 15 years developing her skills and talent for working with our pupils. The teaching partnership between her and our art teacher is one of the most successful Wings has witnessed and is an inspiration to all. Art lessons at Wings provide so many opportunities that all pupils find a medium that inspires them and allows them to achieve and this is in no small part to the dedication of Alison and Clare’s amazing working partnership. This was rewarded by a Wings pupil being chosen as the winner of Kedleston Schools Art competition in November.

Nathan this month has shown some great leadership skills within his role as a team leader. Whilst Clare has been enduring her un-festive gallbladder Nathan has been supporting the Deputy in ensuring the home's commitments remain consistent.
Nathan also responded without haste in regards to a Childs needs when off duty but made quick arrangements to support the home. Nathan has also been a key figure this month making sure the Children are enjoying the festivities, this is inclusive of the Elf on the shelf antics.
