On Thursday last week a group of young people from Olsen House School, Liverpool enjoyed a reward trip for their brilliant attendance this half term.
They all thoroughly enjoyed ice skating and it was a great day full of smiles and laughter. They were a credit to the school showing excellent manners while at the ice rink.
Rewarding and focusing on positive behaviours is a strategy used across the Kedleston Group schools and homes, it reinforces and encourages children and young people to repeat the same good behaviour. It also gives the opportunity to take the children and young people out into the community as the reward, developing their confidence and social communication skills.
Everyone also has a lot of fun! Well done for the attendance this term....
