Wings School Cumbria:
Alison Hoggarth
Alison came to Wings in 2014 as a School Cleaner and in Oct 2017 was promoted to the Senior role in the team. She ably assists Rick in running the department and ensures that all domestic matters are dealt with; the school and houses are kept gleaming and will always muster the team at a moment’s notice should any emergency arise. We would like to add that this is also tribute to the team who work well together to help keep our school and homes a clean and pleasant place to live and work, and to say thank you for this.
Wings School Notts:
Richard Wilcock
Richard is an exceptional member of the Wings team who works hard every day to engage and enthuse the children he serves. He has been fundamental in transforming the outdoor education curriculum provision from concept to delivery; always with a view on delivering child focused learning with the maximum positive impact. Richard and the outdoor education team change the children’s perceptions of what education can look like so that they become more inspired to achieve and do their best.
High Peak School:
Nicola Susca
For the way she has worked with pupils to promote High Peak’s positive expectations as part of school wide positive behaviour support. Nicola has clearly got a natural ability to work with the pupils, which we may never have realised has she not asked if she could try another role within school. Clearly there are many talented individuals working at High Peak where we are developing a CPD programme and a culture encouraging staff as well as pupils, to aim high.
Arc School Old Arley:

Arc Oakbridge School:

Olsen House School:
Mike Carr
Mike went above and beyond in ensuring that once our new building extension was handed over, the room changes and their refurbishment for a new purpose was consulted on and completed in a very timely and non-intrusive way. His presence ensured that contractors on site worked to the best of their ability. Mike always projects how personable, accessible, and supportive he is, thinking out of the box while still taking into account the needs of our young people, to resolve some of the site challenges we face in cost effective and timely ways.
