Our Arc School Ansley were incredibly fortunate to have a visit from the dedicated team at Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore first-hand the vital equipment utilised by firefighters. With great enthusiasm, the pupils had the chance to examine various tools and gear, gaining valuable insights into how these instruments aid the emergency services in their crucial work.
Not only were the students able to observe the equipment, but they were also encouraged to ask insightful questions. The firefighters generously shared their knowledge and expertise, responding patiently to each query and providing valuable information about their roles and responsibilities.
To cap off the visit, the highlight for many was the chance to handle the fire hose, under the careful guidance of the firefighters.
The visit from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service left a lasting impression on our students, who not only learned about the Emergency Services but also gained admiration for the brave individuals who selflessly serve our community.
We extend our thanks to Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service for their generosity in sharing their time, expertise, and equipment with our pupils.
