Students at Wings School Notts can be proud of their achievements in 2023, a year which saw them gain a range of academic and vocational qualifications.
Highlights included:
- Across the school, 74 qualifications were achieved in total.
- Students achieving, on average, more than eight qualifications each.
- 41 GCSE qualifications achieved across the school.
- 100% pupils gained a qualification in English.
- 100% pupils gained a qualification in Science.
- 78% pupils gained a qualification in all three core subjects (Maths, English and Science).
- Some pupils gained between 8-10 qualifications in total including more than five GCSEs.
One pupil gained seven GCSEs including English Language GCSE at Grade 7 and a Double Science award at Grade 5:5.
Across the school students achieved GCSEs in a range of subjects including:
- English Language
- Maths
- English Literature
- Combined Science
- Single Science
- PE
Students also achieved a range of other qualifications including BTEC Cooking, Sports Leader Award, Introduction to Carpentry, Life Skills, Art & Design, First Aid, Golf Foundation Award and Dodgeball.
These results will see students move on to further education and training placements for September 2023.
