Outstanding-rated residential children’s home Dovedale House in Buxton is celebrating being shortlisted for two prestigious awards.
The home’s team has been named as a finalist in the Children and Young People’s Awards’ Team (South) category and the home’s Deputy Manager Danny Blood has been shortlisted in the Support Worker of the Year Award (North).
Both the home and Danny will have to wait until the awards ceremony, which is being held on October 24th at the ICC in Birmingham to find out if they have won.
Tracey Power, Manager at Dovedale House – a home which has been graded outstanding in its last two inspections, said: “I am thrilled that the hard work of our team, and Danny, has been recognised in this way. We are incredibly proud of them and they should be rightly proud of themselves.
“We wish all of the nominees the very best and look forward to celebrating the honour of their being nominated for these prestigious national awards.”
