Career Week Kick-Off at Arc School Ansley
At Arc School Ansley, we recently launched our 2025 Career Week with an exciting and interactive Career Fair! This event provided our pupils with the invaluable opportunity to meet professionals from various industries, gaining insight into different career paths and hands-on experience with sector-specific activities.
Despite the police being unable to attend, we were fortunate to welcome a vet and veterinary receptionist, a mechanic, a hairdresser, and a personal trainer. Pupils eagerly engaged in practical demonstrations, asked insightful questions, and explored potential career options in a fun and meaningful way.
In addition to the Career Fair, our Year 10 students attended the What Career Live, What University Live fair at the NEC. This experience helped them explore post-16 pathways, university options, and apprenticeship opportunities, broadening their understanding of future possibilities.
Throughout the week, pupils have been participating in daily tutor activities focused on career development. These sessions include CV writing, fun exercises to identify personal strengths, and discussions on future aspirations. By engaging in these activities, students are gaining confidence and clarity in their next steps beyond school.
We are proud to support our pupils in making informed career choices and look forward to seeing them thrive in their future endeavors!
