Elm Class at Arc School Napton have been learning all about the digestive system in an interactive and collaborative way including songs, experiments, creating lifesize bodies by drawing around each other and sticking internal organs in the correct place and videoing each other giving mini presentations.

Experiments have included recreating the digestive process by replicating semi – digested food and seeing what happens when it reaches the stomach, small and large intestine. Although some of the class said the experiments were “gross”, lots of fun was had by all and all pupils gained confidence when talking about digestion.
