On Tuesday 5^th March Rob Jackson from the Royal Hospital Liverpool visited to talk to the young people at Olsen School about knife crime.

Rob is a clinician who works within the Accident and Emergency department treating the victims of knife crime. He has had a long relationship with Olsen House and is a regular visitors, coming to talk to our young people.

Rob spoke with students about the effects of knife crime on both the individual and their families. He also discussed that many of the injuries are life-changing.

Students commented that his talk was very powerful and they were fully engaged throughout.

Rob's talk is particularly appropriate bearing in mind the current spate of knife crimes and the threat that it poses to our young people.
